Almost exactly two years ago today, I hopped on a plane to the other side of the world. I spent a year in New Zealand on a working holiday visa, traveling all over the country and seeing as much as I could.
A little over a year ago, I left New Zealand to return to the United States. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that it’s actually been that long since I was in New Zealand. I still write about it all the time, so I guess I’ve kept the memory of it close. And all the photos I took make the memories vivid.
Even though I’ve been blogging about New Zealand consistently over the past year, I haven’t done many overview-type posts of the country. No itineraries, no best places to see, etc., and I know a lot of people are looking for more general content when they first start planning a trip.
So I thought this would be the perfect time to finally pull together all of my favorite photos from New Zealand.
I am feeling slightly nostalgic for my time there, so I’ve been looking through all of my best New Zealand photos anyways. It’s such a beautiful country; quite possibly the most photogenic one out there. Condensing my favorites down to just a handful to share here was difficult, but I think the ones I’ve chosen are a good representation of everything I experienced.
